The Hackathon Participatory Science Step One for the Ocean gathered in Nice, from June 3 to 12, 2025, participants from all horizons to imagine and develop innovative solutions for the oceans. Led by Objectif Sciences International, with its Special Consultative Status with the UN (ECOSOC), and Université Côte d’Azur (Faculty of Management Sciences), within the framework of the United Nations Ocean Conference, this unique event brought together scientific expertise, citizen creativity and institutional engagement. Through workshops, mentoring and networking, it generated promising projects designed to influence international policies and practices for a living and sustainable ocean.
